as Andrej Karpathy says, 'software is changing'. it's not longer just about inputs and outputs, it's now about having a cognitive decision maker sandwiched between the two.

and so it becomes quite important to understand from first principles how they operate both as part of a system and as a standalone autoregressive models.

after spending a year at FedEx as a Full Stack Developer, building web apps around Angular and writing automation scripts with Python it felt like the right time to work towards something I was more passionate about.

so this summer I stepped away from FedEx to focus building around large language models, understanding them from the fundamentals and exploring how reinforcement learning can push them beyond just text generators into adaptive agents to fit and enhance systems.

what I am aiming for next is to join an ambitious startup where the pace is fast, the people are sharp, and the work in exciting helping users integrate ai systems into their workflows and lives.
